not my first time posting yoshi wada here. this album from 82 is utterly breathtaking, two long tracks to get lost in & forget about yr surroundings if for just a little bit.

amongst the maestros, marchetti never gets his fair due, which is a shame because he's a strong composer with an impressive body of work. really lovely music perfect for a soundtrack to a lazy weekend.

throwing up this stone cold soul jazz classic from 75 up before i have to go into my soul crushing job. this has been getting a lot of play around these parts lately.

been going through miyazaki lately (for what feels like the umpteenth time but there are always details to pick up along the way), got to thinking about how amazing the scores are, got to hunting down more work by ole joe hisaishi & stumbled across this gem. what a beautiful soundtrack, & i thought i'd like to share it with y'all. the main theme has light shades of moments in love (at least to these ears), & the whole thing is really just so very lovely. hope y'all enjoy!
